Aker Solutions’ New Build segment delivers oil & gas and renewables offshore developments and fabrication products, mainly focused on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and selective international markets. The segment is responsible for large EPCI projects, both within oil and gas and renewables, including business development and project execution, typically large topsides including fixed or floating substructures, onshore facilities, FPSOs offshore wind HVDC topside and jackets, offshore aquaculture floaters and decommissioning and recycling.

What will you be doing?
- Design verification and feedback to suppliers on discrepancies
- Implement building methods in EIT shop engineering
- Optimize work package division for production efficiency
- Verify installation locations and HSSE-friendly design in 3D models (PDMS)
- Ensure DCNs are implemented in work packages
- Prepare EIT work packages
- Verify interfaces with all disciplines (EIT, piping, structure, etc.), suppliers, subcontractors, production, and planning
- Maintain good HSSE performance
- Manage interfaces related to engineering registers, E3D/Navis, and MIPS
Qualifications we think you should have:
- Bachelor’s degree, technical college, or relevant construction experience may compensate for formal education
- Proficient in Norwegian and English both written and spoken.
- Proficient with DAK-tool, "as-built" drawings, and mechanical interface drawings
- Strong general computing skills
- Software proficiency: MS Office 365 suite, MIPS, E3D
