As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage is now looking for several Engineer - MC - Instrument & Telecom for an exciting project at Stord.
 
The project operates in 14/21 day rotation scheme.

Aker Solutions’ New Build segment delivers oil & gas and renewables offshore developments and fabrication products, mainly focused on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and selective international markets. The segment is responsible for large EPCI projects, both within oil and gas and renewables, including business development and project execution, typically large topsides including fixed or floating substructures, onshore facilities, FPSOs offshore wind HVDC topside and jackets, offshore aquaculture floaters and decommissioning and recycling.
 
 
What will you be doing?
  • Assist production in solving technical issues during construction and installation
  • Interpret drawings and job packages for production teams
  • Support Fabrication Engineering with documentation and technical solutions
  • Ensure strong HSSE and quality performance throughout the work
  • Drive continuous improvement of processes and products
  • Coordinate with disciplines, Fab. Eng., planning and production
  • Establish and follow up technical queries and seek construction-friendly solutions
 
What will you be doing?
  • Manage MC activities within your assigned project area
  • Plan, organize and execute MC tasks according to project procedures
  • Ensure HSE requirements are assessed and implemented
  • Provide input to budgets and costs for MC activities
  • Help establish procedures and work instructions
  • Lead and execute MC activities within your scope
 
We think you should have:
  • Good knowledge of discipline work processes
  • Minimum 2 years EPC experience (Topside, Facilities or Renewables)
  • Technical or Bachelor’s degree (or relevant experience)
  • FSE & First Aid course and DSB approval
  • Software skills: MIPS, MS Office 365, PCS (Pims, ProCoSys), Autodesk Simulate
  • Team player, flexible, proactive
  • AKSO experience is an advantage
  • Norwegian and English
