As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage is now looking for: Hook-up Manager with experience in onshore or offshore projects.

The project is led from Stord.
 
Aker Solutions’ New Build segment delivers oil & gas and renewables offshore developments and fabrication products, mainly focused on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and selective international markets. The segment is responsible for large EPCI projects, both within oil and gas and renewables, including business development and project execution, typically large topsides including fixed or floating substructures, onshore facilities, FPSOs offshore wind HVDC topside and jackets, offshore aquaculture floaters and decommissioning and recycling.
 
 
What will you be doing?
  • Participate in problem analysis and recommend corrective actions.
  • Prepare for optimal hookup and input to detailed schedules.
  • Ensure activities are within budget and on time.
  • Communicate with employee representatives and safety delegates.
  • Plan and facilitate team work onshore and offshore.
  • Regularly update and involve the team.
  • Develop the team through training and feedback.
  • Maintain collaboration with project, customers, and base organization.
  • Ensure the right staff and necessary competence.
  • Oversee all construction activities.
  • Manage quality control, logistics, and facilities.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and project specifications.
  • Lead HSSE activities, ensuring health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Maintain a positive working environment.
 
Qualifications we think you should have:
  • Experience from Hook-Up work and execution of complex EPC/EPCI/ FC projects.
  • Minimum vocational education with trade certificate and minimum 5 years’ experience from related industry.
  • Leadership skills with good communication & collaboration skills.
  • Skills in MS Office 365.
  • Good knowledge of MIPS, E3D, Safran and Sarepta MPP.
  • Fluent in English and Norwegian, both verbal and written.
