OneSubsea's department at Ågotnes was established in 1994. We participate in Subsea projects from start to finish, what we call "life-of-field". Our foremost product is a self-developed and self-produced "Christmas tree" that is used in Subsea projects all over the world. A "Christmas tree" is a collection of valves that have full control over what is taken out of the well, e.g. oil/gas, but also injection of carbon into the seabed
We are now looking for a Mechanic who wants to become part of our team and be part of this exciting journey we have now started.
In this role, you will:
- Your main task will be to participate in assembly, dismantling, testing, service and maintenance of subsea equipment in connection with subsea operations.
- With us, you work closely with other mechanics, Team Lead, planners, engineers and project coordinators.
- You must ensure that the work you perform is in accordance with current procedures and you must report non-conformities and undesirable incidents.
- You must have a strong focus on HSE and quality, and ensure that the work is carried out in a safe and responsible framework.
- Together with colleagues, we want you to participate in the training of apprentices.
- We want you to also look for, suggest and participate in the implementation of improvement work in the workshop.
We think you have:
- You must have a trade certificate as a mechanic, industrial fitter or other relevant trade certificate.
- To excel in this role, you should be curious about new technologies.
- It is important that you are accurate and that you are able to identify and solve challenges with mechanical systems that may arise during the work.
- You must be a team player and be able to collaborate with colleagues to perform tasks effectively.
- We are looking for you who are flexible as there is a need to work shifts and travel on occasional travel assignments at times.
- You must be fluent in Norwegian and English, both orally and in writing.
