 As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage is now looking for a: SAS Engineer for an exciting project in Bergen.
  
Aker Solutions take care of energy assets in a Life Cycle perspective. From the start to end of production Aker Solutions ensures safe operations, optimizes field utilization, and enables field life-extensions. We do business development and execute modifications and maintenance projects. There is a global trend towards decarbonization, and we aim to help our customers to decarbonize their operations and measure their emissions to manage them more efficiently, for instance by delivering brownfield electrification of existing offshore facilities. Now we explore opportunities in the aftermarket for renewables, to deliver offshore maintenance for the renewable sector when the market is ready. Aker Solutions employs approximately 11,000 people in more than 20 countries.
 

What will you be doing?
  • Develop commissioning test procedures and contribute to multi‑discipline start‑up and performance test procedures
  • Define temporary systems, tools, consumables and spare parts
  • Prepare commissioning scope and work packages in PCS
  • Execute loop testing, commissioning, start‑up and performance testing according to plans
  • Participate in design reviews, vendor FATs and inspections
  • Perform punch‑out, MC handover and system take‑over activities
  • Resolve commissioning issues with engineering, construction and operations
  • Maintain documentation (test records, punch lists, PCS status)
  • Provide progress reporting and support change control
  • Supervise commissioning assistance and vendor personnel
 
 
We think you should have:
  • 5+ years EPC commissioning experience (Newbuild/Renewables)
  • Good understanding of discipline work processes
  • FSE & First Aid course, DSB approval
  • Software skills: MIPS, MS Office 365, PCS (Pims/ProCoSys), Autodesk Simulate
  • Technical/Bachelor’s degree (experience can compensate)
  • Efficient, proactive, flexible team player
  • EIT commissioning technicians may also be considered (FSE, First Aid, EX course required)
