Aker Solutions take care of energy assets in a Life Cycle perspective. From the start to end of production Aker Solutions ensures safe operations, optimizes field utilization, and enables field life-extensions. We do business development and execute modifications and maintenance projects. There is a global trend towards decarbonization, and we aim to help our customers to decarbonize their operations and measure their emissions to manage them more efficiently, for instance by delivering brownfield electrification of existing offshore facilities. Now we explore opportunities in the aftermarket for renewables, to deliver offshore maintenance for the renewable sector when the market is ready. Aker Solutions employs approximately 11,000 people in more than 20 countries.
What will you be doing?
- Participate in offshore and/or onshore electrification, modification and maintenance projects, both in project execution and front end studies.
- Responsible for layout development and coordination.
- Responsible for design and engineering of architectural components.
- Package responsible engineer for architectural components and equipment.
- Develop Architectural 3D design, drawings and documentation.
- Material selection and new technology.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and be in contact with the client.
Qualifications we think you should have:
- Technical knowledge and understanding of architect insulation, ceiling, doors, raised access floor, fire walls etc.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture with min. 5 years of relevant experience.
- Good knowledge of relevant Norwegian regulations and standards for oil & gas industry.
- Be proactive and ensure good dialogue with other disciplines, clients and relevant vendors.
- Solution oriented with good communication, presentation and collaboration skills.
- Updated in newest technology for efficient buildings.
- Be skilled in AVEVA E3D, MicroStation, AutoCAD, Navisworks and Microsoft Office.
- Fluent in English and Norwegian, both verbal and written.
