As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage is now looking for: Senior Installation Planner with experience in onshore or offshore projects.
 
Aker Solutions take care of energy assets in a Life Cycle perspective. From the start to end of production Aker Solutions ensures safe operations, optimizes field utilization, and enables field life-extensions. We do business development and execute modifications and maintenance projects. There is a global trend towards decarbonization, and we aim to help our customers to decarbonize their operations and measure their emissions to manage them more efficiently, for instance by delivering brownfield electrification of existing offshore facilities. Now we explore opportunities in the aftermarket for renewables, to deliver offshore maintenance for the renewable sector when the market is ready. Aker Solutions employs approximately 11,000 people in more than 20 countries.
 
 
What will you be doing?
  • Establish and develop project execution schedules for EPCIC project disciplines in all phases
  • Ensure activities are carried out in accordance with project requirements and company procedures
  • Manage the dedicated discipline schedule and resource needs throughout the project
  • Implement improvement projects to enhance work efficiency, focusing on digitalization and automation
  • Contribute to the continual improvement of planning functions within the project
  • Monitor discipline progress and budget developments based on the approved schedule and budget
  • Establish reporting structures for progress and resource needs to project stakeholders
  • Control schedule deviations caused by changes, delays, resource limitations, or other factors
  • Perform re-scheduling as necessary to secure the overall schedule
  • Contribute to consequence analysis to determine discipline impacts

 
Qualifications we think you should have:
  • Experience in installation and/or commissioning planning
  • Ability to handle various disciplines within planning and acquire detailed project scope knowledge
  • Skills to tackle complex situations by developing holistic solutions
  • Strong collaborative skills, outgoing, and effective in team settings
  • Proactive and transparent attitude towards team interaction and clients
  • Focus on honesty, predictability, and transparency in all aspects of work
  • Commitment to HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, and Environment) in projects
  • Proficiency in industry planning software, such as Safran Project and Primavera P6 (Safran Project is the core planning system)
  • Experience with method and execution systems like MIPS or other relevant systems
  • Skilled worker or Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in modification projects
  • Minimum 10 years of experience (experience may compensate for lack of formal education)
  • Proficiency in Safran, Office 365 and general IT tools
  • Norwegian and English both written and verbal
