Who are you?
You are dedicated Software Test Engineer who likes working with both Developers and Product responsible to make sure we deliver quality products. You have a structured approach and attention to details.
Your qualifications:
- Bachelor/Master in relevant field. Technical relevant experience can compensate for the lack of formal education
- Knowledge of drilling machines and drilling processes
- Experience with PLC (Step 7/TIA) or lab setup/simulator is an advantage
- Curious about new technology, and a quick learner
- Strong Communication skills
- Structured, engaged with attention to detail and independent
- Flexible, and motivated by working with continuous improvements
- Fluent in English both written and verbal. Norwegian language is a plus
- Collaborate with Developers and Product Owners: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery, aligning testing efforts with product requirements and development timelines.
- Design and Execute Test Plans: Develop structured test cases and perform manual and automated testing to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability, especially in systems related to drilling machines.
- Simulate and Validate Industrial Processes: Utilize lab setups, simulators, or PLC environments (e.g., Step 7/TIA) to replicate drilling scenarios and verify system behaviour under realistic conditions.
- Drive Continuous Improvement in Testing Practices: Identify areas for improvement in testing workflows, tools, and documentation, contributing to a culture of quality and innovation.
