As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner, NES Advantage is now looking for a Weight Management Specialist (Valhall PWP) with experience of onshore or offshore projects.
Aker Solutions’ New Build segment delivers oil & gas and renewables offshore developments and fabrication products, mainly focused on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and selective international markets. The segment is responsible for large EPCI projects, both within oil and gas and renewables, including business development and project execution, typically large topsides including fixed or floating substructures, onshore facilities, FPSOs offshore wind HVDC topside and jackets, offshore aquaculture floaters and decommissioning and recycling.

What will you be doing?
• You will be working as a Weight Management Specialist together with other colleagues in the weight management department for Valhall PWP project. Your responsibility includes but is not limited to the following:
• Weight management and weight control during project execution phase
• Working with piping MTO including piping Insulation and pipe support and pipe surface protection team, extract and analyze weight and quantity data from engineering systems
• Close cooperation with engineering disciplines to verify reported weight.
• Producing weight and quantity forecast reports.
Qualifications we think you should have:
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience within the oil and gas industry
• Good computer skills, MS excel, MS word and familiarity with data-base applications is required (e.g. WEMS and ProArc)
• Analytical and coordinating skills
• Good English verbal and written communication skills
Education:
• Higher technical or engineering degree
• Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education
Work location: Fornebu (Oslo), Norway
Contract duration: Initial contract up to 16th April 2026 with options for extensions.
