Overview
- The Senior Mineral Land Analyst is responsible for reviewing and aligning current land records in CS to our data standards, procedural documents, and consistency manuals to help maintain our data integrity. This individual will work closely with other members of the Mineral Lease and Contracts team, Land Negotiators, Well Asset Management Team, as well as A&D, to ensure consistent application of Mineral Land processes across the database. The Senior Mineral Land Analyst will be instrumental in improving the overall accuracy and integrity of our land records in our land database.
- Accountable for leading the land expiry process and follow through on expiry/continuations and government/freehold notifications to Geologists, Negotiators and Partners.
- Understanding and working knowledge of Saskatchewan Crown regulations, as well as Freehold leases.
- Be involved in process and procedure development
- Process external and internal inquiries in a timely fashion
- Solve complex problems that encompass a range of challenges
- Generate complex area land maps and ability to extract data from various systems
- Work with Negotiators on Crown posting and sale process
- Prepare and submit caveats, withdrawals, discharges and transfers of caveats to land titles office and advise partner and freehold owners
- Be able to work independently on most problems, receiving guidance on more complex or unusual issues

Qualifications:
- 5 to 8 years of oil and gas land administration experience
- Graduate of a recognized land program is preferred, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
- Active member of LEMAC
- High attention to detail as well as strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage and adjust priorities in a highly paced, dynamic environment
